Twitter and the House fandom

Ok, let me add my two cents to the whole "he's so mean, why doesn't he share the bloopers" and "who's the stupid cast-member who doesn't want to sign off on Greg Yaitanes posting bloopers" respectively:

1. If GY didn't twitter at all we wouldn't have gotten any of the things we've gotten so far.
I don't understand and probably never will this fandom's sense of entitlement.

2. They made this gag reel exclusively for their wrap party. Which, if I understood this correctly is something like the christmas/beginning of holiday/whatever party at your work/school: now, I know some people might see this differently, but I wouldn't want anyone else but my colleagues/fellow students see a film or whatever that was made to celebrate another year of good team work or poke a little bit fun at each other. It's something "private" and just because the House people produce a show that a billion people watch doesn't mean they have to share everything with those fans.

3. And what about the other bloopers from all the other seasons?, you might ask.
Well, I am as sad as the next person that we haven't gotten them on the DVDs, but that doesn't mean I can't respect if there are cast members who don't want them made public.
Would you want videos of your mistakes and mishaps on YouTube? Because that's exactly what it is.
Sure they're actors and are in the media basically 24/7, but mistakes that are funny for us might just be embarrassing for them: you can moan about them being divas or spoilsports, but that doesn't mean that you can disrespect their decision and feelings about this subject.
There might be other reasons for not having bloopers on the DVDs which we know nothing about as well...

4. I'm still creeped out that so many people are asking GY for Lisa's strip scene XD I'm glad Lisa is such a good sport about it.
I don't even know how to say what exactly it is that bothers me so much about it...it just feels cheap to have a scene Lisa worked so hard for just being posted on twitter and not properly on a DVD where it belongs imho.

5. That being said, I really like the idea of House cast and crew members answering questions and throwing a few "gifts" our way every once in a while^^ Everything to way in on the rumour mill and spoiler insanity I guess XD

Your mileage may vary of course :-)
