the nonplussedness of dogs
So I've always sworn I wouldn't blog because what do I have to say that anyone wants to hear, and I'm not sure I'm going to keep up on it because of the same thought, but it's 5am and maybe I'm just having a moment of weakness.
I woke up just now and realized I forgot to give Nikki her evening antibiotic, so I got up to do it right away. Now I'm back in bed. I just love the matter-of-factness of dogs. Nikki is the only dog who woke up and followed me into the kitchen, and now she's gone back to bed too.
She seems completely nonplussed at the idea that I woke up in the middle of the night simply so I could get up and feed her some cheese, and now we're both going back to bed.
Isn't that what humans are for, after all?
