“Well, well. If it isn’t the conquering hero.” Eddie McDonough said, grinning just a bit as Johnny got off the bus. “How was L.A.? Having fun on the Left Coast?” He waved his good hand around. “Been missing our lovely New England weather? Oh, never mind me. I’ve been drinking too much bad coffee. You’ve got to be starving. Grab your stuff, I’ll buy you lunch. I know a real great place.”
