"[All right.]" the Vision said, and set his cards down on the table. "[Um. Three tens, a four and a seven. Your turn?]"

"[Because we both had three of a kind, but mine were of a higher number?]" the Vision clarified tentatively. It didn't seem like this was a very complex game thus far. Of course, this was only the first hand.

He nodded.

"Your right on mark with it."

"[I see.]" the Vision said, gathering his cards up. "[Shall I shuffle the deck again or do we just set these aside?]"

He smiles.

"Shuffle up and deal....I heard it on tv."

The Vision shuffled the cards again and dealt them both another hand.

He had a three, a five, a two, a four and a seven. He shuffled them around a little bit, staring at them thoughtfully.

He stared at his cards, he had a seven, an ace, two fives and an 8. He put on his best poker face and decided that he'd keep them.

"[All right.]" the Vision said, and set down his cards. "[I have a two, a three, a four, a five and a seven. Do the pictures on the cards have any influence on it?]"

He looked down at the cards to see that the were indeed of the same type. He threw down his cards to reveal that he didn't have anything.

"That my friend appears to be almost a straight flush. if we were playing with seven and not five, if you had a 6 you would have me beat. You still have me beat but still. Your lucky, you know that."

Vision looked a bit embarrassed. "[It's just beginner's luck, I'm sure.]" he said, collecting the cards and reshuffling them, dealing again. He looked back up at Mr. Immortal. "[I swear, I'm not shuffling or dealing them this way on purpose or anything. Do you want to deal?]"

He shook his head.

"Only person the GLC has ever accused of cheating at cards was that evil robot...don't ask."

evil robot.

The Vision looked away and set the cards down. Well, the distraction had been nice while it lasted.
