The console inside Xavin’s ship beeped in a certain pattern, indicating an incoming message. That was all the warning received before an explosion shook the Avengers’ Tower. Something had set off the Skrulls - maybe something had happened out there in space, or maybe they were just tired of waiting for Dorrek VIII to “come to the correct conclusion

Molly yelped as Victor drug her down. He could be such a dummy sometimes! She couldn't be hurt; he knew that! It was no wonder that she had to look after him so much, him being the youngest of them and all. Now Karolina flew out the hole and way, and Molly could only watch as she stood up again with Nico. Well, there was nothing for it now but to lead her friends to the roof and make sure they didn't get hurt along the way. If somebody hurt Karolina though... Her eyes were defiant as she looked out the hole. Even the bravest of people would have been scared by that look unless they were fools.

"C'mon then, guys. Karolina said I had to get you to the roof." Her voice was determined as she turned around and grabbed both Victor and Nico by the arms and hauled them after her.

"I guess we're going to the roof then..." Victor shrugged helplessly at Nico.

Molly drug them out into the hallway. A maruading Kree skidded up in front of them, lifting his gun and snarling angrily. Molly's foot connected with his crotch with a sickening crunch, and his eyes bugged out and his expression went from angry to agonized as he crumpled over to the side. His armor over that area had only made it worse, as now it was indented inward. Meanwhile, Molly kept going.

"Ouch...," Victor was wincing hard. "Molly, that's just not a nice thing to do, even to a bad guy. It's kind of an unwritten code..."

"Maybe a boy code." She didn't pause, she had a mission and she was sticking to it. "He got in my way. I'm responsible for you two and I'm not gonna let you down!"
