RIP

i miss you.

I am trying not to take things for granted anymore because no one knows when they will be gone. I lost both of my grandparents this past week. My grandfather had four different kinds of cancer.  My grandmother, who also had cancer, died this last sunday. When my grandfather died, she just gave up on life. She stopped taking chemo and although the doctors said she had 6 months to live eevn without the chemo, she died only 5 days after my grandfather.  People can disappear in the blink of an eye and theres no way to get them back or to control it. It never happens on your own terms and always when it is least expected. It happened to me when I had no chance to say goodbye, or tell them how much they both meant to me thoughout my life. I couldn't tell them how much I appreciated them and how much I would miss them after they were gone. I couldn't talk to them just one more time or laugh with them again. Why do tragedies come at one's least convenience?  I will never forget all the times I spent with them, each little detail so important and perecious in retrospect. Times when I chose to do other things than spend the precious little time I had left will always be looked back on with the utmost regret. I just wish that I could tell them how dearly I miss them. I just hope no one will ever have to know the kind of pain that I am in right now. RIP
