I have tried and tried and tried and I just can't do it.

I just can't be a PC gamer.

I've been trying for the past few months to get back into it with my friends back in MI, I bought Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead, Half-Life 2/Episode 1 and started playing WoW again. I'm not sure what it is, but nothing can get me into it.

L4D is a neat idea. But there's no story, and it's the SAME game through 5 or 6 different maps and it gets boring after about an hour of doing the exact same thing over and over. Sure griefing gives you a few chuckles but this game is redundant.

TF2 got my attention because of its style, characters and weapons. I played it for one day and haven't touched it since.

I could never get into Half-Life but it was gifted to me by someone and I tried to play it. Couldn't even get back to Ravenholm where I stopped playing last time.

Never tried Ep 1.

Now we find WoW a game with millions upon millions of users. (I know I'll catch hell for this from someone) But to be totally honest I have no idea why it's as popular as it is. It's a constant grind fest only to go to some end dungeon to collect god knows what so you can play dress up with some new shoulder pads. Then what? Even when you're playing with a group you just run through the dungeon defeat whatever boss then do it again because you aren't strong enough to move on and people spend HOURS on this! I guess I'm missing something.

I know I'm not using the best examples but I felt like writing after a few beers and being really tired, and it seemed like a good idea.

I'm going to go play xbox.
