catching the invisible illness
So it's the beginning of the week and guess who gets sick? Me. By wednesday I'm so miserable I do the unthinkable. I schedule an appt. at the doctors. They put me on antibiotics that make my stomach burn and feel crampy. I feel a bit better from that today, but starting last night I felt the pangs of a sore throat coming on. Gargling with salt water isn't helping like it usually does and the last thing I want right now is to develop strep and go back to the clinic. Until then... I guess I'm just miserable with my pounding headache, hot and cold flashes, and sore throat.
