“Rodney don’t,” John said holding grabbing his lover’s hand tightly. The day had taken a heavy toll upon him. The last thing he needed was those deft fingers touching and exploring the remnants of being helpless as he became a Wraith’s breakfast, lunch and dinner even if Rodney was trust worthy.
“Please trust me.” Rodney whispered.
John leaned his back against the wall and closed his eyes. At least if he didn’t see the hand reaching towards him he would not mistake it for the damn wraith’s hand. He held his breath for a moment as he felt a hand slipping under his dark t-shirt. As it touched the skin of his belly he gasped.
“Sh,” Rodney cooed as John felt his finger touch his soft pink lips.
The hand snaked further up his shirt brushing over the faint scar that had formed on his chest. Fingers traced around the shape before resting on the spot where his heart was beating rapidly. He fluttered his eyes open and saw two loving pools of blue gazing at him.
And as Rodney moved forward to kiss him on the lips he smiled. In the loving embrace of his lover he was finally….safe.
