the scariest thing happened to me today. I was sitting on the dowtown 6, on my way to jackies after class. The guy sitting right across from me looks like he's dozing off. He starts shaking alittle and leaning over, practically laying on the guy next to him...he starts breathing really heavy, and foaming out of the nose and alittle from the mouth..one guy next to him gets up and walks away, the guy on the other side of him taps him and asks him if he's allright...he says yes and shakes his head. Then he drops his mp3 player on the floor and doesn't pick it up...he's still breathing heavily and shaking a bit, and people start talking to him asking him if hes okay and telling him he dropped his mp3 player. He doesn't respond. Hes breathing heavier and shaking on and off...foam and spit is dripping out of his mouth. Everyone is concerned, and he is unconcious. We are at 33rd st now, and a couple decides to get off and stop the train to get medical attention. We are waiting for about 15 minutes, and a man who i assume was a doctor walks into our car and starts helping him, trying to find his id to see if he was epileptic or a diabetic...his id said his name is Xander (i quickly think what would buffy do?). The doctor yells out "XANDER CAN YOU HEAR ME" no response...but he starts spitting up...first just spit, then pouring out waterly vomit and blood..i get so scared and freaked out i run to the other side of the train. They are proping him up and laying him down on the floor. I got so scared and freaked out i decided to get off the train and walk to Jackies. As i was exiting the stairwell, i saw parametics going down. It took them so long to get there...it just made me think. What if it was really really serious and needed immediate attension or he would die?? It shouldn't take a half an hour for the paramedics to come.
