Old School

This day was as normal as ever. Not as normal for some because it was Obama's inauguration early this morning. Haha. Almost everyone, not only Americans, was waiting for it and now talking about it. As if he is the leader of the whole world. Powerful neh? Well I don't care as long as he does his job perfectly and cleanly. Maybe he really is the *messiah* for the current state of the world.

Anyway, I had a very nice sleep last night. Maybe it's because of the Up Dharma Down, Paramita and Taken By Cars combination. I left my computer open, again, with only Winamp running, no other applications and torrents. Lol, my mom would kill me if she knew about this.

Hey, have you heard? Tickets for the Eraserheads "The Final Set" reunion concert are now available at Ticket World. And it ranges from 5k down to 300 pesos. Lol, 5k. I want that. But I don't have any cash. Not even a hundred, that is really consumable, because I want to keep those new crispy bills. I only use them in dire need. Haha! So there, I don't have money but I want to watch the concert, again. I've even thought of selling my D60 just to have money but I can't separate myself from it.. Haay, where can I get money aside from the bank?

I felt sad because of that so instead, I listened to some old sounds. Not "that" old but it's old enough for those kids lower than 18 years old. Really, they don't know these songs that I would mention. Of course, I started out with Eraserheads songs like Shirley, Sembreak, With A Smile, Torpedo, Poorman's Grave, and the list goes on. One time while I was playing Sembreak on the guitar and sang, then a friend of mine asked "Ano tinutugtog mo?" Haha take note: he's a "fan" of Eraserheads. Oh well. I switched to Japanese music that is mostly L'Arc~en~Ciel and X Japan. After that, I traverse a little more in my Mp3 folder and found my Incubus collection! Wish You Were Here, Drive, and Pardon Me. Really brings back memories from when I was in high school.

I miss the times when we were able to do anything after school without worrying about assignments or projects or for the next day's classes. Aside from going to the mall and play in the arcade, sometimes we go at Alvir's place since he has almost all the basic gadgets and instruments. He has his drums and amplifiers while Jay Roy brings his electric guitar and 5-pedal guitar effects and I bring my bass guitar. We jam until night or until one of us needs to go home. We cover almost all the popular Incubus songs during that time and any song that we heard over the radio. Well, we could do that, both of them were known in our school to be a very good guitarist and drummer. Don't include me, I learned to play the guitar from them during the year 2000. We started the band I think around 2001 or 2002, so I am very new with the instruments and techniques. Haha, I really miss our jam sessions. I wish we could jam again as a band soon.

ARGH! I STILL NEED MONEY FOR THE TICKET! ~_~

S> 80gb HD IDE, Red Slim PSP, Nikon D60, Red X-Series Washburn Electric Guitar, original pinoy albums!

LOL joke lang. HAHA! Pera... $_$

Haha to wrap this one, I was searching for eggnogs in our food cabinet but I found this instead. LOL
