Yesterday at 4:00 pm, a severe thunderstorm/tornado hit the coast of *where i live* got this off some website ....
""PRELIMINARY LOCAL STORM REPORT...SUMMARY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BUFFALO NY 1053 PM EDT MON AUG 01 2005
... 0355 PM HAIL 5 NW SACKETS HARBOR 43.99N 76.19W 08/01/2005 1.00 INCH JEFFERSON NY STORM CHASER 60 MPH WINDS AS WELL. 0415 PM TSTM WND DMG PILLAR POINT 43.97N 76.13W 08/01/2005 JEFFERSON NY STORM CHASER SEVERAL TREES DOWN"" i think it was a torndao. i didnt see one, it formed right about where we live. wind blows, u dont see it whipping around in a circular motion, which is what i saw. it coulda been a microburst or something. weve had them before. but it wasnt. my mom's friend susan cant find her cottage, because structurally, they cant find it (in other words, it blew away). 75 mph winds. it was scary shit. amber was screaming..."OH MY GOD WERE GONNA DIE!" then hail. Our picnic table with the unbrella blew off the porch. this all happened at 4 pm. then the JCC volleyball coach calls us, at about 4:30. practice starts monday. holy shit. im gonna play college ball. hopefully.
