I definitely want more! DAMN, but this was good. Your premise is intriguing and the interaction between Christiaan and Ichabod is quite amusing. I'm looking forward to the next installment.:)
Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it so far. I have a soft spot for weird pairings and weird crossovers, as well as the more traditional ones (ie Will/Jack) and I'm hopeful that other people will enjoy it too...
Haha, I've got creepy fandom love for Ichabod/Hessian and the Hessian in general. The guy who does his headless scenes does some really hilarious body language and it sort of gave me ideas about the Hessian's personality. That, or I read waaaaaaaaaay too much into that film.
Glad you enjoyed the xover. A lot of people don't care for them, so I'm pleased you liked it.
A story with ghosts and a plot and the Captains (how much I love you for using the plural form, I can not tell,) ...I'm hooked.
The exchange at the Van Tassel- house made my night a whole lot better, not to mention the part with more carnal intentions. I'm still going to mention it since it's just too intriguing to think about them having to keep real quiet, and then fail to mention it. So there it is.
And it's rather nice to have you back for that bit.
do people not acknowledge that in fic? I'm kind of out of the loop
They do acknowledge Will as Captain Turner, they do, but not like you did, which is the reason I clung to it. There's still people writing Jack with the childish insistance of usage of his proper title at every turn (Ze Captain, Captain Jack Sparrow,,) and frankly, it's getting a bit old by now. Kinda like the slap-gag did, although, admittedly, that one took less time to wear out.
Seeing Jack introducing himself and Will as a) pretty much as an item (tummy does a happy little flip) and b) not making any further distictions about it, well, it rocks my boat at least :)
Don't mind me, I read way too much into things, words specifically, and can get a bit over-excited with them...
Oh my god, the way the last two films leaned on the "Captain" thing? ::facepalm:: Not my favourite. It was like, we know, we all saw the first film...Ugh. I have so many complaints about T&T as professional writers. I mean, I watch a lot of bad TV, and I read a lot of amateur stuff, and I write amateur stuff, but if you're getting million dollar paycheques? You should be better. *le sigh*
I love it when people read into things 'cause I do the same thing and it totally makes my day if it's my fanfic. :)
Yay! I thought I'd never see another PotC fic from you again, and I am very happy that I was wrong. This was delightful. I like how your Will is much less annoying than Will in the movies, and more like a real person rather than a pretty boy with a hero complex. Though I do need to watch AWE again because I've not seen it in quite a while and I've forgotten a lot about it.
One awkward part that I want to ask about: "Jack and tipped the remnants of the stew..." Did you miss a word there or something, 'cause I'm not following it.
Oh lord, that was amazing and hilarious. Thank you forever for that.
And yes, I'm on Gmail, but my internet is being obnoxious and cutting in and out. If I restart, I bet it'll work, so if you're logged in, I should be available to chat in a minute or two.
Unless you were just asking for my gmail address, in which case it's pipersparrow@gmail.com because I have the same username for everything ever. And boo to being depressed but yay for writing.

And believe me, I'd rather see Ichabod paired with anyone besides the White Witch. And I love Masbeth, the one and only, as well.
Forgot to mention the banter is perfect between Jack and Will.

Here's another one eager for more.

(As for the 'captains' thing. If it's set post-AWE then they are both captains...do people not acknowledge that in fic? I'm kind of out of the loop)

And I laughed out loud at "Go boil your head."

I've had waaaaaaay too much spare time recently and I got tired of being depressed and not writing.
(it should be "Jack tipped the remnants" whoops. Cheers, I'll go fix that)
I'm glad you liked it, and I'm glad you like my Will more. OOC!DMC/AWE!Will annoys me. But only when I have the sound on.
