Practicum lined up already
So the teacher that arrange practicums for march called my yesterday and has a nice place lined up for me a bigger clinic in mission which isnt to too far a drive from me that is looking to hire after the practicum :) I am soooo excited. I hate job hunting so it will be perfect... just gotta do everything really well so they really like me and hope i remember everything i learned in class. They are also looking to hire someone for weekends right now... which i am turning over in my head :S I would love to take that and just be ahead of my whole class that way. But the number of assignment plus extracuricular activies i really need my weekends right now to get everything done. Also i am a night owl and am still having problems adjusting to mornings and need weekends right now to catch up a little... i would be going 7 days a week if i took it now and would prob burn out at somepoitn just from shear craziness in everything i have to do. But I am very very excited about this place for my practicum and am feeling good vibes about it. Now i just gotta convince myself to suck it up and get over my fear of phones and to get over being shy to give the best impression of myself. It has now hit home that this is becoming real and I am very excited and nervous at the same time. I hope I am ready for this. It is also giving me new motivation as all the assignments and tests were starting to cause a shorter and shorter attention span in me lately and cause me to be more tired and feel a little burnt out of school as it has been a while since i have had a courseload this crazy before. I was bouncing off the walls with energy for the rest of the evening after that phone call. I just had to tell other people. THanks for letting me share.
