Thank You

This has been the best day of the year, I swear to god. Holy moly.

The day started off well. I woke up a little earlier than usual because I had had 13 hours of sleep the previous night. I had my Band and Calculus finals today. I owned the former, didn't do so well on the latter. I'm not too worried about it right now, though. I'm too damn happy.

School ended at 10:36am, and immediately after I went and hung out with David, Josh, CP, Kyle, Ernesto, and briefly Caitlin, at Taco Bell for lunch. Oh man, that was great. I love my friends. They are the greatest people I know. They put me in such a great mood. Ernesto, especially...that guy makes me laugh so damn hard. He doesn't even have to make a joke...the way he manipulates the tone of his own voice effortlessly is enough to make me break out. So after Taco Bell, Josh, Kyle and Caitlin went their separate ways, and the rest of us headed back to school (it was practically empty). We went on the computers in Mrs. Sparks' room for awhile. It's the first time I've really hung out with CP. The guy is pretty cool!

At 1:00pm, we all headed to the movies. Casey and that guy were way up in line, and she had all the tickets. David, Josh, and CP cut ahead, but I willingly stayed behind with Ernesto, Caitlin, Kyle, and Marc. We weren't in line long before they opened the doors to let us in. For the next 30 minutes or so, we kind of shuffled seats, went to concessions, talked about some menial things, etc. During the previews, the trailer for Harry Potter 3 came on. I about shit myself. That movie is going to be fantastic. Love Harry Potter. Love it.

Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is one of the best movies ever made, ever. I smiled, I laughed, I gasped, I cried...Samwise Gamgee, dear Sam. He's my new favorite character. His devotion to Frodo and the rest of the world is stunningly beautiful. He really is the most loyal cinematic and/or literary character I've ever known. I give this movie a perfect score. Sure, it lacked in some areas... (the music wasn't spectacular like in the previous LOTR enstallments), but where it shined...that more than made up for it.

Movie ended. Afterwards, our group of 11 people hung out in the parking lot for a good 30 minutes. What a great 30 minutes! We we're making all kinds of hilarious jokes...Ernesto and his axe, Casey and her flowers, Josh and his cough drops...oh man. Then a little while later we all made it to Subway, for the best hour and a half in a long time. We were laughing like crazy! And the surprising thing was: I was actually making a lot of the jokes! I was funny for a change!! I didn't know I was funny. Ernesto had me bawling, practically, as usual. Almost all of us were in hysterics, especially Casey. I made her laugh non-stop, even with the guy there. That put me in a great mood. :) God, I love my friends. I live for those moments.

All in all, the first or second greatest day of the year. The only contending event would be Chris's birthday at Castles N' Coasters. It seems I'm happiest when I'm making a big group of my best friends laugh, and vice versa. Love you guys.
