So I've fallen a bit behind on this. I think I haven't forgotten any of the books I've read since my last post.
11.) Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella
So this woman is terrified of planes and her flight ends up going through really bad turblence making her think she's going to die. As a result, she spills all her secrets to her seat mate who she really discovers is the founder of the company that she works out. Him knowing all her secrets causes is problems, blah, blah, blah, they end up falling for each other. I realize this isn't a great review here on my part, but I do actually really enjoy this book. It's just really predictable like most chick lit.
12.) I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella
Yes, it's another one by Sophie Kinsella. What can I say? I really like her books despite being predictable.
I've got your number follows Poppy who is engaged to be married. Due to a series of events she loses her cell phone and her engagement ring. While looking for her ring, she finds a phone that had been thrown in the bin. She ends up hanging onto the phone and manages to convince the phone's owner, a business man, to let her hold on to it until she can find the ring. Eventually, her and the business dudes lives start becoming entertwined because of the phone. And she starts wondering if her fiance is the guy she actually wants to be with. Typical chick lit, but I enjoyed it.
13. Bewtiching by Alex Flinn
This book is based in the same universe as Flinn's other book Beastly. Except in this one we see into the witch who cast the spell on Kyle in Beastly's life. It basically shows how she tries to help people and how she became a witch along with having a sort of main Cinderella story going on with it. I liked it alot.
14. Cinder by Marissa Meyer
So, so good. My sister Donna had recommended it to me and I got the first five chapters and thought it was only so so. Then I read on and it was amazing. I cannot wait for the next book. It's basically a sci-fi Cinderella. I don't really want to spoil anything on this one, so I just recommend reading it.
