So I've been reading Linda Goodman's Star signs, a great so far, though I've been reading it a little bit at a time, digesting each new idea while trying to understand them and implement them in my every day life.
Today, as I was enjoying a beautiful spring day in the sun, I came across this paragraph that made me love astrology much more. It's another proof to me that it's by far an amazing aspect of our universe that will always help explain and guide all of This.

Taken from the book Star Signs by Linda Goodman
...Did you know that all British monarchs are crowned at a moment of time calculated by astrologers? They always have been--and stil are. When Prince Charles takes the throne, the crown will be placed on his head at a time British astrologers (behind the scenes) have calculated as propititus. Astrology is quite respectable in England, even amongh the Royals--also in Europe, India, China and the Arab world.
Ronald Reagan has long believed in astrology, and has relied upon it to guide his major decisions for several decades. A large photograph of Reagan hangs on the wall in the office of California astrologer Carroll Righter, along with photos of his other clients--and under Carroll's Righter's guidance, Ronald Reagan asked to be sworn in as Governor of California at the extremely odd hour of three minutes past midnight. Likewise, he asked to sworn in as President of the United States in a separate ceremony at precisely 11:57 am on the day before the official swearing-in ceremony, and therefore took the oath of office twice.
Belief in astrology in high governement places is not new. President Franklin Roosevelt consulted astrologers regularly. So did President Abraham Lincoln. George Washington and our founding fathers were all astrologers themselves. Former Vice-President Walter Mondale has written me to express how helpful he found my books Sun Signs and Love Signs to be. Former vice-president Nelson Rockefeller was an astrological client of minne, who wrote to me for astrological counsel on two occasions. The popular New York astrologer, Evangeline Adams, who counseled the likes of J.P. Morgan, who would not make a move on the stock market without her advice, was the grand-dauther of President John Quincy Adams and the great-grand-daughter of President John Adams.
