Just what I think of humanity in general at the moment. Wrote it end of '04.
The Earth is created
Man is born
Fresh, innocent
Without a thorn.
Then the Devil appears
Slithering among the flowers.
Now man starts to
Show his true colours.
For within man
He had planted a seed
A taste for destruction
Chaos and greed
Man's pure soul had vanished
He'd tarnished his soul
And for that he was banished
Now the tears of the angels
Fall from the sky
Because humanitie's dark heart
Still continues to lie.
The Devil has won
Do you hear him cackle?
Our unclean souls
Have been put in a shackle.
And now the world
Has started to die
All of this gone
In the blink of an eye
Despite of God's good grace
We'll now end in disgrace
