Wednesday's Gone, Welcome To Friday...
Time for an actual post!
The title of this post is drawn from a conversation had with a customer today at work. I was playing cashier, and he came walking up. He asked me if it was Thursday or Friday, I said 'I thought it was Wednesday.' And he said 'Wednesday's gone.' And I laughed, saying 'Welcome to Friday.' The guy said he'd call that his next song, about a Thursday evening after a hard day's work, reflecting on how quickly a mid-week goes by for the average Joe. So, if you hear of a song in the charts by the name of this post, you know where it started! Otherwise it might just end up on a bootleg CD in New York. Or a video on YouTube.
In other news, last night I chatted with Eric for close to three hours. And he said something quite funny. He thought he'd heard a click on his end. And he said 'My dad better not've been on the other cellphone.' Before you ask, the answer is Yes. Eric was on his cellphone. Needless to say I told him I was going to make an LJ post about it.
Now if only I could remember the other things he's said in the past that were sponge-worthy. ..I mean LJ-worthy.
