JCC Cometh

Platoon 1 Section 2! A very interesting mix of: 6 Infantry dudes born in 1988 (4 from Delta previously), 1 cadet going through recourse, 2 commandos and 1 lady.

There's so much changing in my life now, and lots of events and exercises have passed these few weeks.. but I think its a common sentiment not to feel like blogging. Because there hasn't been much time or space to sit down and let thoughts string themselves together. I know I've pushed a lot of thoughts aside into some reserve corner of my mind, and I'm not going to grow from them until I find a time to sit down and face the facts/make some decisions. But with JCC (the infamous Jungle Confidence Course) in Brunei to cope with over the next 2 weeks guess we'll have to wait a while longer!

I'll be flying to Brunei tomorrow night at 230am (effectively Sunday morning), when the whole of Terminal 3 would belong to us because we're part of the first batch to use it - none of the shops have even opened in the departure hall, and we'll be receiving a free polo tee saying "Terminal 3 Trial Participant". And over the next 2 weeks..it'll be a mad rush of settling down/lessons/battle courses in the first few days, before the 9-day long JCC commences, which promises to be the toughest part of the entire OCS course. Most of it will be down to navigating across killer terrain where everything (knolls, mosquitoes, ants, loads carried) is supersized, together with a 3-day solo survival segment where we'll need to build some essential structures like a shelter and fireplace. Plus having about 2 or 3 days' worth of food to last all 9 days. So just for the record:

Xun's weight as of 10 Aug 07:
60.6 kg

Let's compare the difference after I return on the 28th! hohoho.

Got to cut short the entry now! Cya soon!
