A momentary lapse

The userpic that I am using for this post is highly deceptive. The obvious reason being that this particular userpic is a "Xun Yu" userpic instead of a "Sua Ning" userpic. I, however, am Sua Ning.

I have sworn not to blog and I shall remain true to my word. However, I do already have something in the works which I shall unveil when I have the luxury of abundant time on my hands to conceive it; as it is admittedly a rather massive project that I may very well not be able to accomplish after all.

Meanwhile, I have been re-visiting my sua-stories site- which can serve as a temporary source of remembrance for this once active blogger. While most veteran readers of my posts are more than familiar with my excessive and deplorable publicity of these ill-constructed stories bordering on wretchedness, few actually realise why they mean so much to me. (Although I confess that even I prefer Egypt- A misrepresented nation to many of the stories published on the site.) That however does not diminish the fact that I am embarrasingly (yet flamboyantly) proud of every single piece of writing that I have produced, down to the individual emails that I have sent out, each of which was actually painstakingly constructed- a fact that I have never previously disclosed.

One sua-stories piece that stood out was surprisingly THIS one- an entry I confess to having found absolutely ghastly at some point or another in my life. However upon reading it now, I have found it on the whole less revolting and in fact, offers a slight insight to why I enjoy Rankin so much. With the emergence of a more self-assured ego, perhaps I have learnt to appreciate the accidental brilliance in certain parts of that piece.

I still have much to learn from the words of Confucius.
