(no subject)
Okay! So, I decided on another costume since Silmeria is NOT going to be done on time for Acen u.u I'm going to be doing Izuna from the DS game 'Legend of the Unemployed Ninja: Izuna' x3 I'm excited because it's easy and so so so cute XD So, so far my lineup for Acen is going to be this:
*Izuna (Legend of the Unemployed Ninja: Izuna)
*Popuri (Harvest Moon 64)
*Carlos Van Tairun (War of Genesis 3)
*Soul Society Orihime (Bleach) - note: Also, not my costume. >_> I made it for a friend and he's lending it to me XD
I'm REALLY hoping to finish Izuna by Acen, and so far, it's going very well. I modified the pattern from McCall's 2940 (which is fantastic for any kind of gi or robe that folds in the front). I'm going to be making the skit from my own pattern (which is fine because it's straight and only goes partway around the hip). The scarf and sash are going to be EASY. For the black tights, I'm just going to use my tights for Micaiah, cut one to be the right length, put some no-fray stuff on it, and tada!
Of course I'll be buying new tights for next time I wear Micaiah though x.n; The leggings...again. Easy. Sew a tube. Wrap in black stuff. ...the only thing I'm iiiiffy on is the goggles @_@ They're not clear basically at all. They're supposed to be white. SO many people do them clear...the cosplays I've seen anyways... But yeah. I'll find a way XD
