AUGH. Oh my god. Oh my god. UPS is officially in my black book. I ordered my Archos on Friday, and it was finished processing and shipped on Tuesday. I chose Next Day Shipping, and paid an extra $25 for it, too. It was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday, but I was not there to sign for it, so they were going to make another delivery attempt the next day. I called them Wednesday afternoon to change the shipping address for my work.
THEY FUCKING MISSPELLED IT, so I ended up not getting it at the 10:30 drop-off time. So I called their customer service department, and they said "Oops! We'll fix that for you. You'll be getting a call from the warehouse within the hour." An hour and a half passed, and no call. So I gave customer service a call again. During the call, the warehouse called. I thought 'hey, I'll call them back after I get off this call to make sure everything is correct'. They apparently DON'T take callbacks. So they tried to deliver it to the wrong address AGAIN.
The rep at customer service said that they got the correct address now and will attempt another delivery THAT DAY. There was NO delivery made the whole time I was there, so I called to change the address back to my home address because I'm not working tomorrow. They changed it and then said it was going to be delivered on Monday.
MONDAY!? What the fuck happened to FRIDAY? So. Apparently, any changes made after 7pm postpone the delivery. She kinda NEGLECTED to tell me that point BEFORE we changed it. So I talked to the manager, and he was trying to be polite about it but DIDN'T DO SHIT. So now I either need to go to the ADDISON center to pick it up tomorrow (which is, by the way, a HALF HOUR away), or wait until Monday, when it was SUPPOSED to be next day shipping. Next day shipping my ass.
I cannot believe this. I am SO fucking pissed off, I can't even put it into words. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow at the Addison center so I don't have to deal with their shit anymore. Once I have it in my hands, they better believe that there is going to be a Better Business Bureau claim for this. They lied and fucked up more than three times. They typed the wrong address when I spelled it out SO clearly (T as in Tom, H as in Harry, A as in apple, ect), promised that it would be delivered that day, and didn't even tell me until after the change that it would postpone the shipping. I better get my $25 back for shipping because they just fucked everything up.
Augh, I'm going to go work out and burn all this anger off. There will be FUMES OF ANGER coming from me instead of sweat. >O
