I haven't experienced depression ever in my life except for the few months I spent at college in Boulder. What a shit that turned out to be.
I've lost a record number of friends in the last year. People who I really cared about that just wrote me off like some jerk. Not exactly the first time that's happened though. People tend to come around, but as you get older, adulthood seems to take you away.
