BIG update!! :) :) :) :)
Hi guys!!! Sorry I have not updated in FOREVER. Soooo much has happened and I don't know where to start.
So, since my last update I have gone from not knowing if the date I was going on was an actual date to having the most amazing boyfriend in the entire world. Ahhh okay, so his name is Brad and we go to school together. He went to Patrick Henry, so he is a San Diego native as well. We have been together for almost 4 months now, and let me tell you... it has been BY FAR the BEST 4 months of my life.
I never thought that I would love someone like I loved Nick, but now that I am in a relationship completely based on love and trust, I know that what I have with Brad doesn't even compare to any other relationship. It is crazy to feel this way after such a short period of time, but there is no way not to feel this way. We seriously spend ALL of our time together. We practically live together and are only apart when he is at work or in a different class than I am. The best part is, when he is at work, he will call me and just be like "I already miss you and I can't wait to see you". He makes me feel so good about myself and so good about us. We have such an amazing way of communicating. If anything is bothering us, we tell the other person and that is it. We don't yell or get angry. We calmly talk. It is seriously amazing.
He tells me all the time that we have been sent to each other for a reason. God has put us in each others lives for various reasons. He was in a really bad relationship before we were together and he said he prayed all the time for someone like me to come into his life. I did the same thing. Seriously, I know he was sent to me by angels.
Well, here is the big news... we have been talking about taking our relationship to the next level. He told me that he wants me to be his wife and the mother of his children. He told me I am the girl of his dreams. I feel the same way about him. There have been so many signs leading us to this point...
We took my niece and nephew bowling a few weeks ago. While we were there, there was a guy next to us in the other lane. He was talking to Brad like the whole time. We were having a great time. Brad didn't tell the guy anything about us. The guy said that he thought we were too young to be my niece and nephew's parents, but then he asked if we were married. Brad said no. The guy told him that I am going to make an amazing mother. It totally wasn't in a creepy way. He just saw the way I was interacting with Zach and Sydnie and he could see it in me. They kept talking and stuff and the the guy got ready to leave. He came over to us before he left and asked if he could say a prayer for us. We of course said yes, so then we held hands and he said basically that he was praying for us because he can see something special in our relationship and that he knows that God brought us together for a reason. It was seriously the coolest thing ever. A complete stranger could see it. It was a WOW moment.
So, here we are... we aren't going to rush into anything, but we will probably get engaged by Christmas time, that way it is about a year into our relationship. We will have a long engagement and get married when I finish school. I have been working so hard, so it looks like I will finish school a quarter early!!! So I should finish about March of 2009 and then we will probably get married later that summer.
So, that is my BIG update!! Ahhh there is so much more I could say, but I will leave it at this. I could not be happier right now. I am so in love with him and I can't wait to be his Mrs. :)
