Just in time for V-Day
So, this past week has been amazing. I seriously can't stop smiling, and I don't remember the last time I felt THIS good.
I met a boy.
He is in my computer science class, and no, he is not asian haha. He asked me out to dinner last Friday night. I didn't know if it was a date or not, so I didn't really know what to expect. I was sooooo nervous though cuz I haven't really gone on dates with anyone other than Nick for basically 2 1/2 years.
One day in the lab I was talking to him about how I was craving PF Chang's lettuce wraps and also how Fashion Valley was my favorite mall. So, when he asked me to dinner, he said "You and me, PF Changs in Fashion Valley on Friday night." He totally remembered. :) There is a PF Chang's right here in La Jolla, but because Fashion is my fav he took me there. It was SUCH a good time. He is one of the most respectful boys I have ever met. He even opened my car door for me! I have NEVER had someone do that before haha.
We stayed at dinner for 2 hours just talking and getting to know each other. We have so much in common it is crazy. On the car ride home we were blasting the Eagles and singing along to it haha. So much fun! Then when he dropped me off, he didn't even try to kiss me or anything! It was really cool. He said that we definitely have to do it again sometime soon.
Soooooo, that sometime soon is this Friday night! :) We are going to dinner and a movie. I am really excited. He is just so easy to talk to. Then on Sunday we are going to breakfast and then to church together. :) Heck yeah, he is a church boy!! I love it! I am most likely gonna meet his parents and his sister on Sunday because they go to the church that we are going to go to. Ahhhh. I am so excited. I don't know what is going to happen or anything and I am just taking it all one day at a time, but every day my heart smiles more and more.
Oh I almost forgot. We were "working" in the computer lab til pretty late last night. Actually we were doing very little working and a LOT of talking haha... but anyways, so I offered to give him a ride home because he took the bus since he lives so close to campus. So I took him home and he asked if I wanted to come in. So I did. We played guitar hero for a while and then decided to watch a movie. Time FLEW by because all of a sudden it was 2:30 in the morning!! haha. He walked me out to my truck and gave me a kiss on the cheek (total awwww moment). Such a good night! It makes me even more excited for Friday.
Ahhhh, who would have thought that I could smile like this because of a boy again haha. I told my mom about him and she was sooooo excited. She has been trying to get me to date again, but I just haven't been ready. I am still not ready for a relationship, but I am finally to the point where I can start looking again. It feels good. And it feels good that she is so happy for me too. Even my dad was excited for me! haha. My mom said she noticed a glow on my face but she didn't know what it was until I told her. haha. Moms know you so well, huh!
Ahhhh :D Well, anyways that is my exciting news! I will definitely post on how Friday and Sunday go! ♥
