Reflection of the summer.
So here I sit.
5 days from now I will disembark from this cozy home in Santee and venture to the wonderful world of UCSD. Much like moving back for the summer, it is so bittersweet. I am excited to live on my own, see my school friends, and have another memorable school year... but at the same time I don't want to say goodbye to summer.
This summer has been amazing. I have discovered who my true friends are, even more about who I am, and so much more. There has been heartache, love, crushes, smiles, drunken nights, long talks, beach walks, photoshoots, drive-in trips, work, summer school, circus fun, and the list continues.
I feel that I have really grown as a person this summer. I mean, I have dealt with heartache and on-going family problems, yet I know I will persevere. I look into the eyes of one of my best friends, and know that there is happiness ahead. Life may not turn out how I thought it would, but through my faith, I know there is an amazing future ahead.
So, I shall leave this entry at that. This summer was amazing, and now it is time to continue with my future. Only 3 more years of school until life REALLY begins. :)
