true; but pharmacuticals are completely different than recreational drugs. drugs that were created to save lives are now bought/stolen and sold and taking lives in the hands of people that they were never meant to reach. and with natives, the gods that they believed they are speaking to were nothing more than hallcinations brought on by the psychosis of drug use and not actual gods. in their eyes yes they were speaking with gods becuase they had no idea that they things they were injesting/smoking had the properties that they did but instead a catalyst which bridged the mortal and immortal world, but in reality they were doing nothing but tripping out on shrooms. the drugs that they used, while natural, deteriorated their minds and it grew to a point were this one precious plant was the gateway to immortality giving it a godly status in their society. this goldy status drove more people to use it, it eat away at their minds and create dependence on it, create a psycological addiction to it. and i know of many people today who diefy their drugs, who base their lives off of it. you cant tell me that this is natural. to base your life on something that destroys life. and most drugs that exist today are not natural. weed and shroom are the least of our worries. any jackass can brew up some ecstasy or lsd in thier garage with chemicals their stole from school, botch it and kill those they sell it to.
butttttt in the end its all a matter of personal decision. no i wont condemn a person for what they chose on this matter but i will disagree with it and speak out again it. you opt for drugs then you alone deal with the consequences. i have no quarell. as long as it stays out of my life then you may do as you wish.
and i dont think that ryan was seriously and literally wishing death upon all those who do drugs. if you knew ryan you'd know that he kids arounda lot. yeah he's straight edge but he's got loads of friends who arent. plus, he's a peaceful guy who i doubt would actualy wish death upon someone and mean it.
i think that people are making too much of a little thing here.
thats like me saying "FUCK BLACKS, LETS BURN 'EM ALIVE" - a statement which i hope you would all know is meant to be humourous and not serious - and rallying the african americans of windsor to attack me.
