Not a problem. They're not a bad bunch except for the one with the short temper.

I agree. He's the one I'm concerned about.

Well there's always someone out there to cause some trouble.

It's kind of interesting how there are more "peaceful" citizens around here as opposed to the more "villainous" ones, don't you think?

I like to believe that in general, people are predisposed to good - or neutrality, even - rather than evil. So I would think that it would make sense for there to be few of them in any given population.

Mmm, not a bad philosophy.

Well it's not surprising to have a few bad eggs pop up around here. You're lucky to have someone like myself on hand to help~

Indeed we are. For all people here have the power to fight them directly, I truly hate having to resort to violence. It is best to resolve things peacefully.

I agree, though unfortunately things don't always come down to that. Humans just love breaking things~

Unfortunately, yes.

...may I assume from your response that you are not, in fact, human?

Oh now I never said that~

It's not that odd for someone to refer to their own species is it?

It would depend on the world, I'd imagine.

Well I am a scientist. I suppose it's only natural for one such as myself.

Though in my world, there are alien species.

And I am a scholar. In the right context, it would be natural for myself as well.

As in mine. Though... they are not aliens. They are every bit as native to my world as humanity is. Perhaps even more so - many of their civilizations are much older than ours are.

A scholar, hm? What do you study?

Ah, well in my world there are numerous planets inhabited by a plethora of creatures, both with and without human intellect. It's quite amazing, really.

So you have different races then?

I primarily study magic, though I do enjoy learning ... as much as I can, no matter the subject.

There are many different races on my world that are sentient and humanoid, though not human - Elves, Orcs, Dwarves, and so on - as well as those that are sentient and not humanoid, like the dragons.

Magic, hm? I don't suppose you could show me, sometime?

Dragons?
