Life hasn’t been so typical for Amherst Regional High School sophomore Oshie Merrick. Merrick has lived in Wendell, Mass for most of her life and was raised by two minimalist “hippies”. “We lived in a log cabin”, said Merrick. “We had electricity but no running water. We had to boil water just to take baths.”
