Wow, just wow. I never saw this coming, but damn. :)
Let's just hope that the gameplay keeps its core values that made it successful in the first place. Not the abysmal Sonic 3D Crap and beyond! Not the Sonic Rush the Nintendo DS (ewwwww). Just the gameplay that made Sonic 1, 2, 3, and 3+ (Sonic and Knuckles) successful and fun!
If Capcom can revive an old series (Mega Man 9 and 10)...
If Nintendo can revive an old series as well (New SMB Wii)...
...then I am expecting SEGA to do the same with this game. ^_^
