SacAnime Winter 2009
Yeah yeah, I am 4 days late. Sue me. :P
SacAnime was very fun. So far, a good year for cons at the moment.
The Game Room tournaments ran very smoothly time-wise. Though I do admit we had quite too many tournaments, at least it gave people a lot of options of competition.
Since I have never entered a tournament while as a staff at a con, I decided to help contribute participation for Mattison's DDRMAX2 tournament. Big ups to him for hosting it. I gotta say that the competition reminds me of back in the days, when I used to suck badly. Heck, I haven't competed in like 2 years. I'm actually surprised to end up with second place, especially against those who I thought should have won against me. Of course, Phil dominated the tournament. The good thing about it was that the tournament was very intense, and I had a lot of fun with it. Highlight of the tournament was people getting too many tie games! XD
Cosplay Poker (free entry but prizes were available) was hilarious. Though I barely play Poker anyways, I am like...okay, time to relax a bit and have a bit of fun. We probably were the rowdiest table out of the 3 due to the amount of loud jokes, lots of "All-ins", 9-9-7-7-9 Full house at one point, and some indecencies. Anyways, anyone like my shuffling skillz? LMAO!
Criticisms welcomed so that we can make future conventions we staff better. Hell, if you got game requests or ideas, feel free to discuss. And yes, we know about Tatsunoku Vs. Capcom; due to its popularity, you guys are getting your wish! Get ready August! ^_^

- Accidently losing the Pikachu artwork and not being able to get the Copics as promised. I am SOOOOOO SORRY Nicole. Remind me to pay/treat you back. I am so deeply sorry for that.
- Uninvited guests at the gaming staff table during Denny's. Seriously, get the hell out. And no, I didn't host a big afterparty according to rumors mentioning my name. I may be an icon to some people, but mooching isn't a way to appreciate someone's success. We almost got kicked out that day.
- IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE in terms of ride issues! Though I see it in cons often, Friday night and Saturday night was outrageous in numbers! *sigh*
- Headache with a certain attendee who moan, bitch, and whine about personal issues to our staff, especially when one didn't want to go in the first place. Keep that shit out of cons please because no one gives a shit. I might post a future post on it, but I am assuming that others know about it and I rather discuss this privately at the moment.
- Not making it to Sunday's dinner with some of the people at SacAnime. Emergency issues.
