(no subject)
Wow today was the most awesomest Friday ever!!! lol... First block we only played half the block boo... but we did play the Incredibles so yay! It is shaping up but there are still some minor adjustments yet to be made... ::cough:: trumpets counting ::cough:: Second block I just did some random spanish packets that were in my binder and read some more of The Subtle Knife. I'm already at the part where Will gets his fingers cut off... I can't wait til I get to the Amber Spyglass bc the ending is always good. Third block we got new stuff on the Present Perfect and the Past Perfect like he comido means I have eaten and habia comido means I had eaten. And then we did more stuff with the Buena Vista Social Club. We got to translate some of the lyrics of the one song. I decided to finish translating the whole thing but I didn't get one stanza because the bell rang. Then my fourth block class apparently doesn't know how to shut up for announcements... bc they were calling people down to the assembly by area and first they're like first floor A wing and then they said second floor A wing but no one listened and then we all went down then... it was funny bc the class across the hall is like it's A wing you're not supposed to be going but people continued to go... That just makes me mad for some reason... So I met up with Katrina and Donna and Rachel was already with me and we all sat together. The Voices of Africa performed at the assembly and they were really cool. At first though it seemed as though people were being typical high schoolers and being disrespectful and stuff but eventually they warmed up to them and thought they were cool which is all good. They even had some audience participation stuff too. We got to clap different rhythms and stuff it was cool. They even asked us to dance as long as it was ok with the Principal... So of course people danced. For the last song we got a line going and I totally got on but eventually it disbanded and we all ended up in front of the stage dancing. Katrina took some videos w/ her digital camera and hopefully she can send 'em to me. Wahh... my hands hurt from all the clapping we had to do... I think I'll end this now bc when my dad gets home at 4 o'clock we gotta go to Walmart so I can get photo's done for my passport. The only reason were gettin them done there is because the picture has to be 2X2" and the face in the picture has to be anywhere between 1" and 1 3/8" and yeah... so best let the professionals do it lol...
