how crazy was yesterday???? me n kay finished work and had arranged to meet jonny to see if we could get some download festival tickets. we had spoke to a tout on the saturday and he said he would be in the same place on sunday... but when we got there he wasnt.. our hopes shattered we drove on up to the park... and low and behold two black geezas selling tickets. we didnt even have to leave the car. he was so desperate to sell these tickets. we bumped the price down to about £20 and we ended up with V.I.P passes!!! we were well pleased but i thought the guy might have been lying to us.. but we got in and were happy about that!! it was about 3 o'clock by the time we got into the arena
armed with out silver bands we headed on down to the bk of the main stage to see where we were allowed to go.
we found the VIP area and headed through the security...
and were in!! AMAZED. we had a wonder round and saw bowling for soup and the drummer from HIM.
seeing as we had only come to see Taking Back Sunday and HIM we couldnt find them in the VIP area so decided to go have a wee look at SLIPKNOT. we sat on the hill and guess who walks past... TAKING BACK SUNDAY. we stalk them and stand next to them till jonny pluck up the courrage to speak to them...good lad!! then we have some pics taken with them and show them that we have VIP passes and that we might see them later.
we go bk to the VIP area and hang there for a while. then there is a big mess up with slayer and TBS end up having to wait ages for there set so we talk to them a bit near the bk of the stage.
after ages of waiting they come on and was a awsome show!!! the crowd werent really feeling it though but it didnt matter!!
then we watch HIM who were good to and then treck back to the car... which we left in DONNINGTON coz we didnt have £5 for the car park.
