Im sure you've read my livejournal posts and it probably sticks out that I like to party (I make no secret of this to my "friends" list), so I am aware of the irony of what I just said. However, I really do sympathize with what you said about our youth and our culture. I have one or two friends at school because I don't WANT to know anyone else. I wouldn't want to associate with ANY of these kids. The girls too... trashy, four tons of makeup and 500 dollars worth of clothing thats barely even there. Not to mention the hardly insightful comments in class coming from everyone. Seriously, the level of stupidity is mindnumbing. Do you ever sit there in class asking yourself "how the hell did these kids actually get into a university?!?! how do they pass!?!?"
I just want to know what happened to resepct? Maybe I'm a bit too "romantic" in the sense, but it seems there was a time when a guy would pursue a woman and would literally have to woo her over, and win her heart. Not get her drunk, fuck her, and then do it again the next night.
I dunno, I'm rambling here and probably not making any sort of a point, so i guess I'll shut up now.

And you are right there just is no level of respect. I mean I don't mean to knock the party scene or anyone who drinks. I do believe there is a such thing as responsible drinking but I rarely see anyone who truly knows their limits or who even watches out for their friends limits. I have never gone to a party on campus.
