Nurse Missy?
So a coworker of mine is going into a program that I've been warming up to more and more. Certified Nurse's Assistant...the program lasts 3 months, and according to her there are a bunch of hospitals and Kaiser(s) that are hiring for CNAs, which starts at $14/hr.
Many CNAs go on to nursing school, and some hospitals in the area will reimburse you for your RN tuition if you're working for them as a CNA. I'm thinking, if I decide to get into this profession, after the two years it takes to become a registered nurse, I'll move on to become a nurse midwife.
I'm actually VERY excited about this because I've never been as keen as I am now on any profession whatsoever...and this could be it for me after I do a little more research. I guess the CNA program is only $250, and after you're certified they help you to find a job in the area.
So we'll see.
Oh, and I found a new wedding dress. It's amazing. My dad also found a new venue for the wedding which I love even more. I'll post pictures and information on Myspace more than likely.
