Cool anime gal 101: Yuko Ichihara
Just like Cute Anime Guy 101, why won't also do Cool Anime Gal 101 too? This is just to give equality to the anime gals out there. And this is just to relieve the boredom after finals. These gals left me a very big impression for a long time not just because they're badass in their part. But also they left something which made me say, "Aha, this girl is interesting".

Yuko Ichihara of xxxholic

Powers: power to grant wishes, foresight, dimension traveling and other spiritual powers
Status: Main character
Nationality/Category: Japanese, "human" or so we believe
Yuko Ichihara is known as the "Witch of Dimension" since she has the power of dimension traveling. She is one of the main characters of xxxHolic and an important character in Tsubasa Chronicle. She is a very fashionable and snarky woman who Watanuki find it hard to deal with. She is also mysterious much that we don't know her true nature and name until sometime in the end. Her interaction with the other characters made an impact to their lives most especially to Watanuki. Her famous quote is "There is no such thing as coincidence, in this world. There is only inevitability."

Turns out that Yuuko is already dead and her physical presence is a result of an accidental wish of Clow Reed in which he wants to see her eyes open. In TRC, Fei Wong Reed revives her from the dead, which she doesn't like because his wish ruined much of the lives of everyone. So, she offers her life instead so that Princess Tsubasa and Tsubasa Li can live as normal human beings. She also told her wish to Watanuki that she wants him to continue living in existence. After her death, Watanuki inherits her shop and becomes ageless so that he will wait for Yuuko to return.....in eternity.....
