Cute anime guy 101: Hajime Saito
Cute anime guy of the day:
Hajime Saito of Rurouni Kenshin
Age: 20's or 30's (idk what his exact age is)
Powers: swordsmanship
Status: Supporting character
Nationality/Category: Japanese, human
Not to be confused with the other Saito Hajime from Hakuouki. Likewise, this Saito is based from the historical figure himself except that this one is not quite looking as he seems. Also like this historical counterpart, he is one of the captains of the Shinsengumi during the late Edo Period. He is Kenshin's rival but he joins his cause to fight against those who oppose the Empire.
At first, this guy likes to smile a lot. But then, he's a cold-blooded killer. He is also sarcastic in some ways where in there's a time he refers Megumi as a "fox", Misao as a "weasel" and Sanosuke as an idiotic amateur. BTW, he's married but we never get to see his wife in the series. Unlike his historical counterpart who is an alcoholic, Saito quits drinkings but he became a chain smoker. He is known for the Gatotsu sword technique which is a left-handed trust.
He's one of the most badass samurais ever.
