Singing, just singing, in the rain

Remember the days when we were dedecated to our journals? We told them everything (even on the days where nothing happened, we found lots to say to them) we relied on them to bring us entertainment and happiness, and shared each moment of our lives with them.

Well not any more! We don't have to feel guilty though because we all seem to have become abit neglectful of our faithful journals recently. I'm sure they understand =]

So yeah, I'm a university student! Fucking hell. I've been here over a week now, and I'm pretty settled I think. Moving in day was oh so surreal. Just me, Mom and Lindsay came which was nice, just the drive up was pretty fun. The dingbat I am applied for self catered and didn't realise when they gave me catered accommodation lol but that's turned out to be a good thing. So we unpacked the car, did the emotional thing, and then they went. Eek. But it was fine actually. About half an hour after that I was sitting in this random corridoor having a sing along to this guy who was playing guitar backwards (he's left handed and he was playing a guitar stringed for a right handed person). Which was, I think, the most random welcome I ever got to a place.

Anyway, Freshers' week was good all apart from the inevitable Freshers' flu which comes with it. Nobody tells you about this on the open days do they?!

Oh yeah! And I went bungee jumping. Absolutely mega lol. I agreed to do it while I was drunk but I was so sober, and so freaked out, the next day when I had to do it. The freekin crane was 150 ft in the air so you could see it from miles away lol. But it was an amazing experience, I'd recommend you all to try it.

There's not much to tell really. Lectures started properly yesterday, oh my god the work! I've gotta find money for 6 text books for this semester!!! The only good thing is because of it being alot of maths, I onl have one essay to write. But that's on politics, which I have no clue about so... help?

And the weather!!! Freshers' Week was absolutely gorgeous, sunny every day, not even any wind, loved it. As soon as Monday hit, so did the rain. It's just horrible now. Not good when you keep getting lost looking for a building in the pouring rain!!

That's all I've got. I want everyone to mail me their address though and I'll send you mine back, I'm planning to write lots of letters!!!
