My Perfect Dreams

If only I could sleep
Knowing I would dream of you
I'd sleep to dream of us
Dream of our future together
Of all the fun we can have
That's where I'll find you,
In my perfect dreams...

If only I could sleep tonight
I'd love to dream of you
Drift away in a cloudy sky
With you sleeping in my arms
I'd smile and sing you lullabyes
But these things can only be
In my perfect dreams...

I wish I'd fall asleep
To dream my dreams of you
Not waking til the morning
Someday waking up to you
For then I'll hold you tight
No longer only in my dreams,
Someday I'll be with you at night...

Sooo woooo for that poem that I wrote last night while I couldn't sleep. :)
