daddy long legs
In my little kdrama marithon i too a MAJOR detor..
first of all, i scratched off Tokyo Juliet..cuz they dubed wu voice and i cant stand watching it...so i wont.
Anyway i Watch My name is Kim Sam Soon also know as My Lovely Sam Soon. great drama..one of the best. if you liked bridget jones diary, you would LOVE this drama, i laughed my ass off it was so funny...but im not here to tell you about that eather
ok so i was like "i don't want to start another 16-24 episode hit parade....lets just watch a movie n get it over w/ in an hour or so"
so I watched "Daddy Long Legs" which Ive heard decent reviews about ...and that its got a twisted ending that I though would be good cuz I find the standard romance story very very boring....
a short synopsis...like all good stories its strait foward.
The girl lost her parents at a fairly young age, shes one of thoes people who always try moving foward. Ever since collage shes had this...benifactor somone, who she calls "daddy long legs" that sends her presents and payed her way though collage. She gets a job writing for a radio show, durring this time she moves into a house owned by a former employee of the stations who is on sick leave. While using their computer, she starts receving e-mails that the former owner sent themselves about how their love of 10 years that they havent apporched yet and their illness that is slowly erasing all their memories. Course, she takes it upon herself to brodcast these emails to help find the man that she (meaning the previous owner) love.
thats the basics of it, everything eles is just plot inhancer, like her coworkers and the guy she ends up liking. i wont tell you anymore, watch it.
There could have been so many other twists they could have done (and they set it up for alot of them) but the one they used is REALLY good. Once you finish watching its very much an OMG HOW DID I MISS THE HINTS? feeling. warning, its sad, i totaly cryed cuz it was sad..... even after it was over i was sill like ... gone.
one point of clafication: when they show the school sceens they of are the previous house owner and her crush, the way that the main girl of the story is imagining it, that why they change. it took me a while to get this totaly figured out....
my only complaint is the desease...what.. on earth takes away your memories and slowly kills you... its like they made it up for dramatic effect....
otherwise I <3 it, and will watch it again and again.
