(no subject)
I'm back home again now- was deeply depressed I could fit all my uni stuff in one car, and dad could see out the back. I swear I had more stuff then that! I went back to Manchester to spend the weekend with my housemates and other friends, then caught a train to Coventry to visit one of my "homies", as she goes to Warwick university. I love spending time with her- it's great, we don't talk much during term time, just the odd message on facebook, but when we meet up, it's like we were never apart. We had fun- we sat and chatted by the lake (and got attacked my gestapo goose) and went to a french restaurant in Leamington Spa- 6 courses, some of which were really bizarre! Poached egg on asparagus wtf?! Do french people really eat that? wierd! We are only separated by the English Channel, but the food is completely different! We went to their SU the next night and danced a lot! To cheesy 90's disco music- twas awesome! Then spent 2 hours sat on house 4's stairs talking to her housemate Micheal- I thought he was so cute, even if he did take the complete piss out of my northern accent!
Now I'm back home, went to an ABBA night with mum and Val- was good but dragged ooon and the DJ was straight out of a Peter Kay skit. Dad just got back from his motorbike trip- he is already ordering me round the house! Reaaaaly want to go back to manchester, but I have given my key in, so that's it for 2 years. That makes me sad =(
Now onto dramas- finished Nobuta wo produce (seems like ages ago, but really it was only 2 weeks ago) love that drama, although I wish I could have words with whoever writes these and tell them to write proper endings. I'm always dissapointed! I also finished Anego last night. I watched the first episode over a year ago then dropped it, but I decided to give it another chance. I liked it- I wouldn't say it was one of my favourites, but it was ok. For one think they sent Akanishi Jin to Mangolia. WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?! The only thing that dissapointed me was that he came back again. ¬.¬ And also I may as well have just not watched the first 10 episodes, as all the SP was was flashbacks of throughout the series, so I would have understood what was going on anyway! And also, none of the characters are particularly likeable- Jin is cute but selfish and even Anego, who is the one always lecturing her kouhais about moral behaviour goes and has an affair with one of her friend's husbands! Infact the whole office seems to be at it like rabbits if I'm honest.... wierd wierd drama.
I'm on tenterhooks with the Quiz Show at the moment. I LOVE THIS DRAMA!!!!! Downloaded ep 8 last night -sbk fansubs are so quick and do an awesome job. Will watch ep 8 tonight and sit and wait for ep9! Also I wish stormy would lift this embargo- I really want to see what happens in smile- only have the first 2 eps- may have to rewatch them to remind myself what's happened. Also have to finish RESCUE and catch up with that Maki drama I've been watching but can't remember the name of- I understand ep 8 has been subbed- meaning one to go after that I think. Don't know which drama I'm going to watch next. I will consult my list, which seems to be growing everytime I discover new actors/actresses I like!
