But onto Watanuki... I will weep bitter tears of angst if he's like Yukito or some other messed up thing.

You know though, CLAMP did mention something about a 'happy' ending. whatever that means.

then again, they like watching us squirm, so everything might just be a ruse to make us writhe in pain and agony waiting for the next chapter and everything.

Aw, I liked angry Tanpopo too! I was just distracted by fear.

If Watanuki ends up being some kind of 'vessel' or something, being pretty much that he is a lie... I will finally hate CLAMP forever for wasting years of my youth worrying about their creations. (I swear, they carry in them just as much sadism in them as any and all of the characters combined, for what they do to their fans. If not more.)

'Happy' ending. One can only hope. Or laugh skeptically.

... Oh god, I'd die if that was the case. Especially after what's happened to Suzaku lately. It'd be horrifying if Watanuki was a lie. DD8 I mean, what!??! I CHOSE TO HOPE! Simply because if I didn't, then all my fandoms are screwed beyond repair anyway.

I liked it, too, but I think I liked 141 better for the whole "Ah--ah--AHH!" thing. XD XD XD

... So if Watanuki was like Yukito, then his Yue would be Syaoran? I suppose it makes sense in a way. SO, is Doumeki going to give something up to keep Watanuki from disappearing? *cough* Yuuko did say that Watanuki wasn't going to disappear, so I'm hoping that he does get a good ending. T_T

... Wish xxxHOLIC chapters were longer. ;_;

That is an exact point I've been trying to make lately in my ongoing justification for my DouWata obsession! Despite the fact that TRC and holic are "shonen" *cough*, their new implied pairings (DouWata and KuroFay) take themes and circumstances straight out of almost every canon shounen ai pairing they've created... one reeaaally heavily being Toya and Yukito for DouWata. So I really hope you're right, or at least that things are something like that.

I do feel better about hearing that he wasn't going to disappear (I really would like to think that Doumeki just would not let him... like before!).

If Watanuki = Kyle, though, then that means he's real, I think? Since he wouldn't have an otherworld self if he wasn't. (Unless CCS Yukito = TRC Yukito's other self, then there goes that theory.)

Well, despite the fact that the characters exist... do the situations that they came from/were created for exist in the universe CLAMP's made for TRC/holic? They may parallel the relationships originally had, but I wonder if it goes beyond that. Same soul and all.

And I've never really seriously considered Kyle = Watanuki. This is going to sound like a dumb reason, but mostly because the seiyuu for Watanuki sounds nothing like Kyle's in the TRC anime (as much as I dislike the anime). I could be wrong. And Kyle isn't a spazz.

I have no clue. XD I'd like to think that they're otherworlds and otherselves of each other, but that may be because I like tossing their universes together if there's a way to do it, like TRC.

I never did, either, until the people in the community started talking about it. I honestly didn't even remember Kyle, and I never noticed that they even looked alike until that splash page, where I went "Whozzat?"

... Hahaha. TRC anime for the fail. >_>

Also, Watanuki and Doumeki totally have the CS!Sakura and CS!Syaoran thing going, if you consider Himawari to be in Yukito's position. Again, it's the same vibe - Watanuki goes all "floaty" when around Himawari, but Doumeki ends up being way more vital to his continued survival. Himawari also plays the Tomoyo role. Only difference is, Sakura and Syaoran get along. Except at the beginning.

You're totally right! That makes me want to whip out all the old CCS dvds, haha. And maybe, perhaps, this is really only the beginning for Doumeki and Watanuki?

That gave me the mental image of Himiwari following Watanuki and Doumeki with a video camera. n___n;
