Squad Pride and Joy Day
Well...
It was Squad Pride and Joy (Spirit) Day.
so...
Mr. Adams officially kicked of the 2006 Band Camp Squad Wars (no longer Squad Competition) at around 11:00 a.m. this morning.
There were common themes to many of the squads.
"Making Fun of Mr. Adams"
"Shugga da gah gah gah" (or something like that) (don't ask...you won't understand)
"Groove Train" (see the first theme)
as usual...my squad doesn't win...(haven't been in the finals since Freshman year...Squad Leader Jason Zember...a senior to remember)
Sqaud 14 ended up winning.
We get to play the halftime for our parents and anybody else who wants to show up.
(3:30 p.m. for those who either A) Are band fanatics or B) Don't have lives or anything better to do)
well...
That's about it...
no sunburns on me yet...
Maggie has a lot though...as do a large portion of the band..
OH YEAH!
Our percussion line TOTALLY ROX!!!
