(no subject)
Okay, I just got back from the Grand Canyon. It was really fun! ^-^ This is a summary of what we did:
THE FIRST DAY:
-Drove for 5 hours through desert
-Saw a coyote cross the road
-Drove for 4 more hours through forest
-went to this town called Oatmen where donkeys roamed the streets (but they called them burros)
-got to a horrible hotel in Flagstaff where the carpet was suspiciously wet
-Jessica and my Dad started a disguising farting contest
THE SECOND DAY:
-We drove for a couple more hours and wathed lightning with no rain
-We went to Sedona and shopped. There was a lot of cute stuff there! ^-^
-We drove to the train railway for the Grand Canyon in Williams
-We ate an all-you-can-eat buffet at this really nice restaurant
-We spent the night at a really pretty hotel where Jess and my Dad still farted up contests
THE THIRD DAY:
-We took a train to the Grand Canyon
-We took this tour for 1 1/2 hours
-We drove around to various places in the Grand Canyon
-We stayed at the WORST hotel imaginable! Here's what happened at the hotel:
~Jessica gets this mysterious bug bite INSIDE of our hotel room
~There was a suspicious bloody towel in the bathroom
~Our roll-in bed (an extra bed they roll into the room) came 8 hours after we ordered it
~There was a Grasshopper on the bathroom Wall
~There were no medical centers open (for Jessica's purple bug bite) exept for one 4 hours away
~I could hear the people above us bickering and cussing
-Jessica and My Dad continued the farting contest
THE FOURTH DAY:
-We left the Grand Canyon at around Lunch time
-We got to this really cool Indian shop and I got two wolf pictures that don't look like they were made by Indians.
_We got to Laughlin (it's like a mini Las Vegas) late at night
-My Mom and Dad Gambled and won $42.76
-and... you guessed it! Jess and Padre continued the contest (all the hotel rooms smelt)
THE FIFTH DAY:
-We left for home, with a 5 hour drive
-We stopped at this burger place to eat dinner and this washed the floor with a soapy towel, then went straight to the grill and threw on patties and buns (soapy towel + floor + Burger = GROSS!)
-We finally got home and got trampled by the puppies!
Overall the trip was really fun!!! ^-^ I want to go again some time!
