paint it blue, baby! go heels! i think it's an omen. i guess it would be crazy of me to deny my acceptance to the university of north carolina. funny though, i don't know whats holding me back from finalizing my decision. after all, my whole life has been carolina so i dont know why i cant make this decision. maybe its just knowing the magnitude of the decision because it's only the rest of my life. either way, it'll be very exciting and just getting accepted was excited. since i was at dad's, jessica checked my email for me and called me ASAP. :) but then it was painstaking trying to get in touch with my parents since they were in NJ and had their cell phones turned off. ack. it just wasnt complete until they knew and i could share it with them. seems like everyone offers their "congratulations" and i do realize what an accomplishment it was. i feel very blessed.
today i gave blood and saved lives. but my blood didnt pour on out of my veins. took 28 minutes for me to donate my pint. i think average was about 8. it never hurt but tears did escape my eyes a few times only because it was so overwhelming. one time there were 3 of the nurses standing over me conferring on what to do and then they twisted my arm all around for a better position, then i thought they were going to stop it early because it was slow and i didnt want them to do that. it was very important to me that i finished. and i accidentally looked at the needle, whoops. overall it was a good experience. now my arm is just a tad sore.
soccer's off to a a shaky start i guess - only cause we haven't played enough to find a rhythm and it hasn't helped that we've only played 1 out of the 4 games with all 11 starters. so we're 2-2 (lost the first to edenton and then greenfield yesterday) but who scheduled the toughest game the day after spring break? traveling to henderson friday evening then they're coming to us the tuesday afterwards. this should be interesting.
oo oo oo...the yearbook is finished. :D im so excited. it's gonna be great but i wont even break the ship date to you. this is going to be the best book EVER.
