tonight will be the night that we begin to ease the plugs out of the dam
tonight is night 3 of my work schedule. i've worked 2 days thus far and have no more days to work after tonight. i'm very excited. my next paycheck will be quite a hefty sum and i will most definitely be able to use it as the semester begins in just a few weeks. i'm going to try to pick up a few extra shifts before the commencement of the semester though. in any case, i will have some money to play with. i've been doing pretty well in poker lately. i'm at about $330 and i started at $50. i'm going to keep it going to see how i do. my goal: $1200. haha. we'll see if that ever happens though. slowly but surely. i'm going to make it happen.
my car is almost completely paid off! i have only a few more payments to make. at the rate i'm going, november will be the last of my payments. i'm pondering just paying off the rest of it in one lump sum though. that way i don't have to worry about it. i need to get a smog check soon because my car needs to be registered. hopefully i won't have problems passing.
that's about all for now. i could write more but i don't really feel like it. besides, i should probably be getting back to work.
