Stupid Drivers! - A rant (well.. for last half of the post)
My weekend was lots of fun! Aaron and I went to Calgary and he was planning on getting most of his new computer. :) Unfortunately he didn't budget very well so he didn't end up getting very much at all! (He only put a deposit on the case he special ordered). So he was super bummed out Sunday morning (We were only there for sunday & monday). But we had lots of fun! My really good friend from school (Helen) ended up hooking up with Aaron's really good friend from Calgary (Ken). XD!!! They are so cute!
Other than that.... finding roommates is proving exceptionally easy :) Got lots of responses from Fernie sites and I think we are going with two females from New Zealand. (I'm can't wait to pick their brain about the place :P) I will have to do a post just about the condo!
Now for the rant!
So when we drove home Monday evening (so nice sharing the drive!!!), anyways... as we were driving home there was this complete and utter MORON that decided to pass some cars going towards Calgary... well normally this wouldn't be an issue at all... but this guy decided to pass when there was maybe 100m from us... well I waited for a bit saw that he was actually going to pass and pulled all the way over to the shoulder of the highway! Well the fucking idiot continued being a twit... and as I passed him he was still COMPLETELY IN MY LANE!!! All I have to say is... what the fuck is wrong with him? If I wasn't fully paying attention (say grabbing my drink or changing the CD) then there would have been a head on collision! I was going 110km/hr, him 100-120km/hr... thats a 210-230 km/hr head on collision speed. >.<
After sharing my experience with people at work I found out that something similar happened to Mike... same highway 'cept the idiot driver pulled onto the shoulder instead of Mike so then as he passed them he had oncoming traffic on both sides of him. *sigh*
