rain!
I wish it would rain right now. Not drizzle. Pour so hard that you can't see two feet in front of you. And then there would be lightning and suddenly everything would visible. I love that. The sudden shift between light and dark. Its so beautfiul.
I remember one summer maybe, oh, two years ago now, we were all at Colleens and it just started pouring. Jess and Coll and I went outside and we were sitting in the middle of the road just enjoying everything. And then there was that summer (maybe the same one?) when we were obsessed with the gods and starlight lane and rain-soaked kisses. Haha, remember that Jess?
There is something innocent about being outside in the rain. Dancing and laughing and acting like an idiot. Something freeing. Its the type of thing that really makes you feel alive.
I love Purchase. I really do. I just feel like so many people here are more apathetic than anyone should be at 18. I need one night when I laugh so hard my ribs hurt the next day. One night soaked with rain and laughter.
