Well, It's been a week and a half. the house is pretty lonely without him, but i'm doing a lot better. The kids took it ok and they still talk about him like he's around. That whole death concept I don't think is quite there yet. But that's ok. It makes it easier for me. E and I have not been ready to say a formal goodbye. I think this weekend we will try.

School has been keeping me incredibly busy. I really don't have "free" time cause there is so much to do. I'm barely keeping my head above water. Learning Braille is pretty difficult. I pretty mcuh know the whole alphabet now but periods, commas and apostrophes are hard for me to get used to. Also each letter also stands for a short word or contraction...
B=but, k=knowledge, c=can...
A capital is made by placing the #6 dot in front of the letter to be captilized, 2 dots if the whole words is captialized. Anyway, it's hard but interesting, and my brain is working hard on all these new concepts. I can't wait to get out in the field! it's going to be challenging but Iook forward to it.
I think I may go on to get my masters in orientation and mobility (teaching children how to use canes and adaptive mobility devices...etc.). We will see. I'll try being a TVI first and see how it goes.

My car...
oh my car.
well
it was overheating and smoking...so I had it towed last night after school...
so far this morning...
bad motor mount, new air conditioner belts, busted hose and radiator cap, new timing belt, new water pump...
that's it so far and I hope it stays that way.
I can't really complain it has a 140,000 miles...she's my baby and has to last, plus a car payment doesn't work out too well on student loans.

death, cars, braille
